Appointments And Appointment Scheduling
This office takes great pride in effectively scheduling our patients. We offer times that allow our staff to provide the best level of care for your particular procedure. Patients find that they ae seen at their appointed times routinely.
Why does this happen so well ? For many reasons, but it starts with our patients. Patients with new or ongoing periodontal needs recognize just how critical the timing of care can be to long term success. Therefore, they establish appointments they know they will honor and that will provide them with the proper care they need. They respect other patients of the practice by not changing appointments and arriving on time for their visits.
Are there exceptions ? Yes, but few. Life can occasionally throw us a curve. However, most patients have found they can make necessary adjustments and not let it interfere with their health needs.
If an appointment is not honored, it interferes with not only your care, but the care of other patients as well. In those instances, a service fee equal to up to 1/2 of the scheduled procedure will be made. This does not happen often, as it is very easy to avoid this service fee:
1. Remember, this is not only your dental health, but your total health is at stake.
2. Schedule appointments on days and at times you know will not conflict with other events including work.
3. Make others (e.g., supervisors, spouses, teachers, family dental office) aware of your appointment date and time.

4. If your personal schedule is just too dynamic, call us a day or two in advance of a date you know you are 100 % available, and we will work with you to schedule, or can place you on a "short notice" list.
If you are unable to honor reserved appointment time(s), then scheduling occurs only via option number 4 (contact us 1-2 days prior to your known availability or "short notice list"). That will allow us to continue to assist you and at the same time allow us to provide care in a timely manner to other patients in need.
Periodontal Care Visits (periodontal cleanings and checkups) can be scheduled from 8 am to 5 pm on most days. More advanced procedures are generally scheduled in the morning or early afternoons. We do not reconfirm the appointments that you have made. However, when possible, we will attempt to leave a courtesy reminder at your home number.
Office hours are generally as follows
Monday 7:45 am to 5 pm
Tuesday 7:45 am to 5 pm
Wednesday 7:45 am to 5 pm
Thursday 7:45 am to 5 pm
Friday 7:45 am to 2 pm
