Meet Dr. Richard Wunderlich
Brief Biography of Dr. Wunderlich
Periodontist Richard C. Wunderlich established our Canton, MI, periodonitics and implants practice. A University of Michigan graduate (BS 75, DDS 77). Dr. Wunderlich completed his postgraduate training in periodontics, including a Master's Degree, from the University of Michigan in 1980. He taught graduate and undergraduate periodontics for 9 years at the University of Michigan. Awards included Instructor Of The Year and a finalist in a national competition for new research.
He has lectured at local and national meetings, including the annual session of the American Academy of Periodontology. He has authored articles published in The Journal of the American Academy of Periodontology, Journal of the American Dental Association, Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry, Prevention Magazine and co-authored a chapter in the monograph: Porcelain Restorations, in the Dental Clinics of North America series.

He chaired the Peer Review Committee for the Michigan Periodontal Society and has been a member of the ADA grass-root network.
His original office was opened in 1980 on North Sheldon Road in Canton, MI. In 1989 he moved to his present location at Lilley and Cherry Hill roads, also in Canton.
Dr. Wunderlich provides a complete range of periodontal services including root form implant placement. He has enjoyed the support of some of the finest restorative offices in the area for many years.
A father of three children, he participates in their activities as a coach and supporter. When given the opportunity, he enjoys golf, camping, basketball and following college sports.
