Meet Dr. Sandra Chang
Brief Biography of Dr. Sandra Chang
Periodontist Sandra S. Chang, DDS, MS, joined our Canton, MI, periodontics and implants practice in the fall of 2004.
Dr. Chang was born and raised in Troy, Michigan. She attended college at Hampshire College in Amherst, MA. She continued her education at the University of Detroit Mercy, where she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Following graduation, Dr. Chang went to the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina to continue her training in periodontics and implant dentistry. She also received hospital training in intravenous conscious sedation.

While at UNC, Dr. Chang was involved in various clinical research projects including research on dental implants and diabetes mellitus. Upon completion of her residency, Dr. Chang earned her certificate in Periodontics and a Masters Degree in Oral Biology.
Dr. Chang has practiced general dentistry in North Carolina. She is also a member of many dental societies including the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration (Dental Implant Society), the American Dental Association and the Southern Academy of Periodontolgy. Her interests include SCUBA, golf, traveling and chamber music.
Dr. Chang provides a full range of periodontal and implant services including sinus lifts, IV sedation, and cosmetic gingival procedures.
